I have written several times about the need for good preparation when powder coating.
We have just taken on a contract to strip off wet paint from steel balustrade panels. The finish was OK but the preparation was non-existent. The photos below tell the tale of a nicely designed balustrade whos' finish failed in weeks.
Key points:

Sharp edges will fail.
